 Dr. Cook is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 29064) committed to providing scientifically supported cognitive behavioral therapies through compassionate relationships. She has a strong background in evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy (ERP), habit reversal training (HRT), mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy (MBCT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT) in addressing the clinical needs of children, adolescents, parents, and adults who suffer from anxiety and mood related issues. Her approach emphasizes existing strengths, while viewing people as multifaceted individuals who are influenced by their environments and relationships. When working with children and teens Dr. Cook integrates parent coaching in order to reach treatment goals. Additionally, she enjoys incorporating her background in children's theater when appropriate. Dr. Cook is committed to providing culturally competent care with a specific interest and background in serving LGBTQ individuals and families. 

Training and Qualifications

Dr. Cook received her masters (2012) and doctorate (2015) degrees in clinical psychology from William James College in Massachusetts. She trained at clinics that have focused on utilizing evidenced based treatments to address anxiety and depression in patients of all ages. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship (2016) at the University of California, San Francisco Department of Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and received in-depth training and supervision in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, during her APA-accredited internship (2015) in Concord, NH. 

Hours & Fees

Dr. Cook is in the office Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Currently she sees clients in person and via telehealth. Her fee is $225 for a 45 minute session and $300 for a 60 minute session. Insurance is not accepted. Monthly receipts are available and can be used to seek reimbursement for out-of-network services. If seeking reimbursement from an insurance provider, it is recommended to confirm what the mental health/behavioral health coverage is, the percentage of costs covered for services obtained by an Out-of-Network Provider, if out-of-network deductibles apply and/or have been met, and if approval is required from a primary care physician.
